Owned and operated by an Indonesian liveaboard pioneer, with over 20 years diving experience, the KM Bidadari is a two masted traditional wooden Phisini schooner that will accommodate a maximum of 12 divers in 4 Double / Twin Bed cabins and 2 Twin Bunk Bed cabins. All cabins are extremely well appointed, have air conditioning and en-suite facilities. She has a spacious outdoor lounge area on the upper most deck for relaxing in the sea breeze and an air conditioned indoor saloon for hot afternoons.

Beautifully Appointed Cabins

One of the most intimate liveaboards diving Raja Ampat the Bidadari will very comfortably accommodate 12 guests in 6 very well done air conditioned and en-suite cabins. All cabins provide either double or twin bed accommodation and have porthole windows for added natural light. You are sure to enjoy your full en-suite western style hot and cold shower, extra storage space, reading lamps, and ornate wood work while exploring the best dives sites of Raja Ampat / Irian Jaya.

The Bidadari Offers Two Different Cabin Layouts: 4 Double / Twin Bed Cabins (Lower Deck), 2 Twin Bunk Bed Cabins (Lower Deck).

The Bidadari is an outstanding choice for singles, couples, or small group private charters. The Double / Twin cabins can also be booked as a triple for family or friends traveling together.


Indoor Saloon, Dining, and Common Areas

The saloon, which is combined with the indoor dining area, is air conditioned, bright and airy, tastefully decorated in hand carved asian hardwoods, and offers stunning views of the sparkling seas around Raja Ampat. This is where you will eat your breakfast in the morning and relax between dives in the heat of the day. There is also a nice seating area and table on the forward main deck that can be used for dining alfresco, or relaxing with an evening cocktail, beer, or glass of wine.

Guests will be enjoy a delicious variety of international and asian cuisine which is prepared using fresh spices, fruits, vegetables, and seafood. All meals are served buffet style, so eat to your hearts content. Coffee, Tea, and Snacks are always available between meal times to keep you energized for your days of diving. There is also an outstanding selection of wine, local and imported beers, and quality spirits.

Bidadari Dining Features:

The main deck indoor saloon also features the following modern amenities: T.V., DVD, and Stereo. There is a small movie and music library as well as plenty of marine and general interest books for your use. The saloon has large picture windows with panoramic views and is a great area for just kicking back and enjoying your holiday!

Relax Outdoors

For outdoor enthusiast there is a spacious sundeck which offers outstanding views of the Indonesian sea and reclining sun chairs which are perfect for brushing up on your tan lines or catching up on your afternoon reading. This is often a favorite area of the liveaboard to relax between dives, have an afternoon nap, or just enjoy a magnificent sea breeze while watching an amazing Indonesian sunset.

The main deck also offers an outdoor seating area where you will find space for sharing your latest photos or a beer with new found friends. The main deck is the perfect place to enjoy a morning cup of coffee while watching the sunrise over the mystical islands of Raja Ampat.


The Diving

With 3 dive tenders, either zodiac or rib, getting to the dive sites is easy. The dive tenders are accompanied by boat personnel and highly trained dive staff. Each dive tender is a fully functioning vessel that will provide fast and safe transfers from the liveaboard to all the dive sites. The dive tenders are also used for exploratory excursions and island tours around Raja Ampat.

The functional and spacious dive deck of the Bidadari was designed with photographers in mind. Photographers and videographers will enjoy the covered camera tables, and a number of rinse tanks for keeping all their high tech equipment clean. Inside the main saloon there is another camera area with charging stations for your cameras, and strobes.

Each diver is provided with their own personal dive station on the main deck with plenty of area for suiting up and loads of storage space for all your personal equipment.

Liveaboard Trip Prices Include: All prices are per person and include accommodation on board, all meals, most drinks (drinking water, coffee, tea), professional dive master services, scuba tanks, weights, weight belt, air, and up to 4 dives per day. We also include greeting and transfer to and from the departure ports nearest airport and the liveaboard. Please contact Dive Adventures Asia for non-diver and single supplement rates.

Additional Charges: The Raja Ampat Harbor and National Park fee of $100.00 U.S. is not included in the prices above. In addition, nitrox, equipment rental, soft drinks, alcoholic beverages, airfare, and dive insurance are not included in the above prices. Equipment rental is $35.00 U.S. per day for a full set, and nitrox is $4.00 U.S. per fill. Dive Insurance for every diver is recommended and should be purchased prior to arrival. Equipment rental and sizing must be confirmed in advance to guarantee availability.

How to Get There: The Bidadari liveaboard cruises depart from one of two departure points: Sorong for Raja Ampat, or Ambon City in Ambon, depending on the route of the cruise. We can help you arrange your round trip domestic flights between Bali or Jakarta and the port of departure. Upon arrival to your departure city you will be greeted at the airport or your hotel and escorted to the liveaboard, its that easy! We have provided detailed information on how to get Raja Ampat from an international destination. Please note that to enter Indonesia you must have a minimum of 6 months before expiration left on your passport and one full clean page for your visa on arrival.

Bidadari Raja Ampat Liveaboard Itinerary

The itinerary of the Bidadari is meant to deliver the very best diving of Raja Ampat / Irian Jaya and beyond within the time allotted for the liveaboard cruise. Her schedule will consist of 12 Day / 11 Night cruises to the best dive sites of the Raja Ampat Archipelago. Bidadari liveaboard cruises will depart primarily from Sorong in the West Papua Province of Indonesia.

Sample Itinerary

Day of Boarding (First Day on the Bidadari)
Morning or afternoon flight to Sorong International Airport, pick up and transfer from the airport or hotel to the liveaboard. Some guests will arrive the day before boarding and stay at a nearby hotel in Sorong.

Diving Days (Depending on the length of the Cruise)

Day of Departure ( Last Day on the Bidadari)
Morning breakfast and gear packing, then transfer to Sorong International Airport to connect with your departing flight.
